I loved this gallery and attached studio, though many of the prices were too high for a traveling student. However, I spent at least 40 minutes wandering the trails by the river and looking at all the pieces in both the studio shop and the...More

Based on reviews I thought I would find great artwork. While there were many options, prices were high and staff was not interested in helping customers. Found a better option about 2 blocks away.

Set quite a way out of Monteverde in an area called Cerro Plano up the hill. Room after room of different crafts so lots to look at but nothing had a price on it so didn't want to keep asking. Walked out withoout buying anything.

Very close to the center of Monteverde, this place is the best art gallery. The garden also have a round house with beautiful women clothing by Costa Rica designer and silver jewellery. You have to visit this place!!!

The gazebo is just a small part of the gallery, you walk from there across a nicely decorated bridge to the converted house and all of the rooms there also house art prices for sale.

we were passing by and the initial pagoda catches your attention. We took about 20 minutes to look around and see the variety of arts presented. The "space" is lovely and breaks up the walk down from Monteverde to Santa Elena

We loved this shop. Many rooms in this house with art collected/submitted from many artists. There was paintings, cards, carvings, souvenirs, hand painted masks, glass blown objects etc. It well worth a visit. Look for the sign for the Monteverde Art House.

The Art House contains artwork from many local artists, most of which would make great souvenirs from your Costa Rica travels. My wife went in not looking to make any large purchases. We purchased a few smaller items to take home, but the larger art...More
