At Blakiston & Co. Adventure Rentals, we believe stand-up paddle boarding is one of the best ways to explore Waterton's hidden gems. If paddle boarding is not your thing we also rent, canoes, kayaks and other adventure vehicles. We are explorers and adventurers at heart, and we live and breathe outdoor living.

Excellent service and equipment
This was a great adventure kayaking on Lake Waterton. The staff at Blakiston was friendly and helpful. They had our stuff waiting for us when we arrived and gave us advice on where to kayak as there were strong winds and quite a bit of chop the day we were there. I would certainly rent from them again.

Amazing and Organized
We booked a group rental for 20 international kids (through the Lions Program), and Blackiston was incredibly organized! They had our reserved rentals out and ready to go before we arrived. All the kids really enjoyed their time canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding on Emerald Bay. Would definitely recommend!

Great customer service
We rented tandem kayaks and was worried that the weather wasn’t going to cooperate. They were very accommodating. They offer to defer to the next day when the weather was calmer, but this didn’t fit into our schedule so they upgraded us to single kayaks which was easier to navigate. Thanks for everything. My family had a great time.

Made our day trip into an amazing experience.

Amazing service and VERY caring follow up. We charted a Canoe for the day to do crypt lake. Micheal was very nice putting up with my question as we are not experts with canoeing just yet. He gave us options and always gave us a sense and a feeling that if it gets too choppy or we will not be comfortable canoeing across the lake due to high winds they will ensure to arrange a plan B pick up for us, which was a great ease of mind. We will be back and definitely would suggest renting from them.

Great Rentals for the Lake

Great customer service from these guys. We rented kayaks and SUPs on two different days - busy place , but they are never bothered to ensure we feel like we are important customers. They do a great job of cleaning the and sanitizing life jackets and kayak seats after each customer use. Make sure you take some time to enjoy the water and rent from these guys!

Lots of Fun, helpful staff

Overall an excellent experience. I rented a canoe in advance. Upon arrival, realized how large the canoes were. The staff recommended a 2 person kayak for my son and I. Said it would be more stable. They changed my reservation, and refunded me the difference. One staff member then assisted me in carrying the kayak down to the lake. Provided clean sanitized kayak and life jackets. Spent 1 hour on the lake, lots of fun. Upon returning, brought back the paddles and life jackets. I was told I could leave the kayak at the beach and they would retrieve it later. Great Experience, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Friendly & knowledgeable staff

Thoroughly enjoy our tandem kayak rental. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The lake was quite choppy on the day we took out the kayak and the staff provided information on where to safely go on the lake and a quick use of the kayak including safety protocols. Very fun day!

Highly recommend - such a great time!

Excellent customer service - the team accommodated our schedule change due to the weather and were so wonderful and helpful. What an awesome experience - the lake is beautiful and the rentals are less than a block to the lakeside. Would highly recommend this as one of the most wonderful ways to view Waterton from the middle of the lake! :)

Paddle Boarding Adventure

Easy to book online and great service on arrival. It’s always a beautiful day out on the lake, and paddle boarding has become my favourite way to be on the water. A huge thank you for all the extra precautions in keeping us safe from Covid-19 this season, the equipment smelled clean when I arrived and all equipment was being cleaned immediately upon return. The staff were efficient and helpful, and everything was ready at my reservation time.

Great introduction to Waterton Park

Thank you, Blakiston, for helping to make my extended weekend trip with my son memorable. The eBikes were a definite highlight allowing us to see more of the park. And the tandem kayak was the perfect way to wrap up our trip, taking in the amazing views from the vantage point of the lake. I appreciate your flexibility in changing the days and times of my bookings given the inclement weather when we arrived in the park. We ended up with two perfect days for our activities and wonderful memories!

Picnic Engagement made special

When meeting these guys and telling them of my planned surprise engagement with a picnic across the lake, they were both gleaming with smiles and excitement. Truly genuine fellas run this operation and were so helpful and curteous...luckily the wind was calm that day and we got across and back with reasonable ease. It was beautiful and the canoes were very comfortable with backing on the seats.

The warm congrats later that evening was icing on the cake. If you're planning some water sports, these are the guys to go with.

Awesome!

Easy to reserve on-line and good pricing. I’ve tried to call them three different times and nobody answers the phone or returns messages. But in person, the guys are friendly and. very accommodating. We were a half hour late for our reservation and they had no problem with it. The equipment was in good shape and we were very happy with the experience overall. We rented e-bikes (FUN!) and paddle boards.

Party Rental

We rented the 6 man paddle board and our group of girls did not get off if it the entire 4 hours. We booked the rental on-line ahead of time which was super easy and picked up the day with no problems. I would recommend renting one of these for any groups (family, youth or friends).
