Don't plan on doing this hike. The road is closed due to fires from 2017. So many things in this park are closed.

This is an easy trail through wildflowers along a ridge above a stream. While hiking it, we saw a bear down below us in the stream fishing or drinking water. There is also a horseback trail that goes through the area, so watch your step!

We actually visited Red Rock Canyon last year about 10 days before the fire swept through the area. Hopefully it opens up again fully soon because it was a beautiful spot. A word of warning however, the creek itself is supper inviting to walk and...More

We had higher hopes for this stop but were somewhat disappointed as the trail on one side of the canyon was closed and the canyon was so narrow that it was difficult to see down into it once you got toward the latter part of...More

You can't even bike to this canyon and the road is closed off to cars. The wild fire in 2017 closed both this place and also the road to Cameron Lake. The one really disappointing thing was that I tried checking the park's website ahead...More

no cars allowed but watch for bears. it must have been amazing before the fire. they won't let you bike the whole thing for some reason. maybe it's the bears. nice rolling hills if you were allowed.

It was a great hike. Thought there were sightings of bears (we didn’t see it personally) but we still went for the hike and quite enjoyed it.

Great scenery. As of July 2018 about half of the parkway is closed due to fire year before. But wildflowers are out so makes this great outing.
