Unfortunately, we came on a wet, cloudy day so just imagine the photos posted but with no colours -- just gray shades. Probably a good place to launch a kayak, certainly the picnic tables and tire swing are still there and the dock is definitely dilapidated. Nobody there when we showed up; maybe because it's a bit of a crazy steep drive to get there. Thank goodness we didn't see another vehicle to share the road with! Would not go out of my way to see it unless you seek solitude by the water, or a game of frisbee-golf but not an easy drive. There is a sign that tells of the history of its location, which is interesting. Free parking.

This can be hard on RV's would not recommend it. We drove in our Sante Fe, and we had to crawl on some of the winding steep hills, drive slowly, watch out for oncoming traffic. Once you get there, you will want to swim in the pristine waters. Careful of the docks, they are rickety. The land was donated by a 'once was' winery, and the docks have not been kept up. Still a pretty place to see, if you want to experience all of Saturna Island.

We love this park so much, we choose to get married here in June! The beaches are perfect for family afternoons, there is a disk golf course, apple trees, fields for playing in, an old fashioned rope swing, a big shelter and stunning sunset views. Boaters; You can drop anchor and row into the sandy beach. Probibly the best picnic area on Saturna.

The park has a gazebo and a few picnic tables and benches. The view of pender island is beautiful. There are a few boat docks and the cove is beautiful where some sail boats are anchored. Nice beach and saw some Falcons in the area.

Thomson park is the best picnic spot. It has a dozen picnic tables under a covering, a dock, a nice beach, a frisbee golf set up, a swing and a nice field.
Go before sunset for a game of frisbee golf and stay until it's past dark to see the bio-luminescence light up the water.

This spot is very quiet. There is the Winery, which is closed, a frisbee golf course, the beach and a trail. The road in is very steep and our van was not happy hauling 7 adults up and over. Some of us took pity on the van and walked back up the 20% grad hill.
The outhouse is cool with the art inside and the history of the area is interesting as the original settlers had no road in. The kids used to ride to school over the hill.

Great place to run the dog (no leash required). Beautiful picnic pavilion, Sandy beach, dingy dock, picnic tables, outhouse, short walk to the winery.
