We hiked the Cliff trail on our visit. This park is more often used by mountain bikers - the trails are pretty well marked and well maintained. Even though the Cliff trail is off-limits to bikers, there were tire tracks when we were there so be wary. The Cliff trail is quite steep at the beginning (from Lea Smith Rd)... More

You can really "fill your boots" with some wicked riding on Mt. Geoffrey! Miles and miles of great single track, some 'expert' trails thrown in for good measure, a few awesome technical trails with obstacles, jumps, etc. Some fast, banked bike-only trails too. For hikers and runners, this mountain also delivers...big time! Lots of easy, gentle trails that will still... More

The trails and views here are out of this world! With the mild climate, it's ridable and likeable year round!

Fortunately the trails are rated! Some are definitely not for the average walker. There are also trails for bikers... I had never realized what an extreme sport mountain-biking could be until I saw some of these trails! Take a camera and a sturdy walking stick.

Tons of amazing trails for hiking or mountain biking. Great place to walk dogs and amazing views from various locations at the top. Watch for deer and crazy big ant hills!

The mountain biking in this park is amazing. Something for every level. The trails are very well maintained. There is usually maps at the entrances and you can access from all over the island.

There are many entrances to the trail system. Easy to find is the trail head at the cemetery close to the hall. There is also a trail map at that location. Other trailheads are at the top of Slade Road, and top of Lea Smith Road and top of Strachan Valley. If you get lost, just keep heading down on... More

The trails to the top can be a bit confusing. Just keep heading up and you will find your way up. The hike is lovely. Mountain bikers we saw also enjoying the trails. The view is brilliant of the two islands we came from to get to Hornby.

Mt. Geoffery is a nice walk to a beautiful cliff where you can see Denman Island and Vancouver Island. It's such a nice place to go for a sunset picnic! Dog friendly, kid friendly, but there is cliffs so keep close watch.

There are so many trails on Geoffrey mountain. There are excellent maps to tell you the different levels of each trail and which ones are bike trails vs. walking trails. Beautiful views and very peaceful hiking/biking.
