Wouldn't have bothered going to this attraction if the weather was nice but since it was wet and snowy, and windy, we decided to check it out. Nice to be "in the tropics" for a few hours and see some beautiful winged creatures, and spectacular...More

Booked with tickets to Bouchard Gardens we arrived with just over an hour to explore. The butterflies, birds, fish and amphibians were easy to capture on film. The staff helpful, the facilities were clean. And the bug exhibit fascinating. We would return.

Enjoyed visiting here. The butterflies, and other critters, were very fun to watch. Note: it is extremely hot and moist so dress accordingly. And if you want to be landed on, wear red.

The gardens, near Butchart Gardens, is an attraction not to be missed, whether you have children with you or not. It's not just the butterflies, which are the main attraction, but there's plenty more to the gardens: lovely flowers (duh!), an impressive bug zoo, turtles,...More

Yes they are. We just ask that you are mindful of the other guests and that the feet stay on the paths and not in the garden beds. Thank you and enjoy your visit!
