My husband and I actually took a bus from Victoria to Saanich and walked up to the winery, uphill for most of the way, and it was worth it! The view from the winery is so nice and the wine was also excellent. They also make gin and whisky and other spirits. We did a wine tasting and a spirits... More

My wife and I visited the winery. The lady took time to explain in detail about what grapes are grown on Vancouver Island. The challenge in growing grapes on Vancouver Island. The history and why they grow specific grapes and produce specific wines. The bonus was the wine was very good as well. Alas, the bottle of wine that we... More

When you venture out to go here you wonder where this one lane road will lead. To a beautiful location, friendly people and decent wines. The pourings were a decent size that you could get a taste of the flavors of each wine. They also have spirits which were not my personal favorite, but thats just me. Venture out, you... More

I loved my visit here. I brought sushi from a nearby restaurant and sat out on the patio to enjoy the view with a nice glass of wine. Very relaxing, and the tastings they offered were fantastic.

We taste tested a few spirits and wine and had a great time. The woman who helped us (Georgia) was very helpful, patient and full of information. We especially liked the different gins they had and we bought a few kinds. Afterwards we sipped some wine in the garden with a view of Mount Baker and it was just lovely.

This is our second visit to de vine; we came up last summer. The drive and the breathtaking views of the Gulf Islands and even Mt. Baker are still fabulous. However we came to try their wine. Apparently they now offer a variety of craft spirits: gin, vodka, and I think Brandy, or whisky. We just tried the wine today;... More

I came here for the wine, but learned after arriving that they also offer distilled spirits, most of which are made with grapes rather than grain. Very good stuff, and I was surprised to find that I enjoyed the Genever more than the New Tom, since I usually favour whisky over gin. The view here is incredible, so if you... More

The staff were amazing and checked in on is regularly to pour and ensure we had adequate food and water. We were able to enjoy the Adirondack chairs overlooking the vistas surrounding this picturesque vineyard. Thank you... More
