Half of the attraction closed
Jul. 2020
We visited the Ludiver in July 2020 and i would say half of the attractions were not available due to the pandemic restrictions: some screens disabled, the planetarium closed. We just visited the exposition, which was not extremely impressive.

Great place

We visited the planetarium not quite sure what to expect as it’s hard to find a lot of information about it. However, we were very glad we did. It opens at 1400 - 1800 daily and is closed Saturdays.
It has a space ‘museum’ with lots of interactive and interesting exhibits which kids love. There are lots of ‘push this and discover that’ kinds of activities. There is also a 5 minute virtual reality space shuttle ride. This is free and part of the museum. You just sit and put a headset on and it takes for a virtual ride through space. By far the coolest thing we did. All information boards are in French, German and English which is helpful. It’s a really nice little place and kept us busy for an hour before the planetarium show. That takes 45 minutes and is really good, the only draw back is the narrative is only in French. Your French has to be very good to follow it, which is a shame as the actual show is great. We speak French and tried very hard to understand it all. That said we could pick out constellations and planets etc. It was 23 Euros for a family ticket so good value for money. There are toilets inside and out and it appeared to be fully accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs. There is also a small play area outside for little children and a little gift shop with just a few items in it. Well worth a visit and good value for money. Would recommend with children.

Wonderful star gazing experience

Great place for children but you need some French but you can follow presentation just by watching the stars changing. Also there is an outside area for picnics with great views

Brilliant

Great place to take the family although not always a full planetarium show. Usually in French so helps to have a smattering of the language.
