The hike says 15 mins to the top, but it's definitely more than that especially on a hot day, it's of medium-high interested intensity and culminates in having to balance as you walk on some loose logs in the water to get to the main...More

An easy walk from the stunning beach. Well sign posted path and parking. Some areas are quite slippy and need to balance over stones so not grew at for extremes of age.

Took a long track as google gave us a different start location. Weren’t quite prepared. Got through it. Amazing falls. Too cold for a swim but on a nice day it would be magical.

After a short walk you arrive to a beautiful fall where you can swim surrounded by nature. It is a little crowded though.

The rainforest walk is the best part of this visit. The waterfall itself I wasn't able to swim in as I am assuming too powerful after all the rainfall. Best rainforest walk I have ever done.

No longer possible to go there, sorry. The Waitakere ranges have been closed because of the Kauri Die-Back disease.
