I visited with my girlfriend and a friend (us aged between 20-23) for a spontaneous birthday afternoon trip. We thought the zoo a bit expensive at around £20 each, so settled for the aquarium, advertised on the website at around £13 each and a bit less for a student concession. When we arrived at the aquarium, we discovered the price... More

Visited here with my son and daughter (1yr & 9yr old). Easy to find and well signposted. Issue with parking but this isn't any relation to the score given. Booked online an hour before so got a cheaper rate, not sure how much cheaper as forgot to look how much at entrance. Should of had separate ticket areas for booked... More

was busy as it was half term but this wasn't a problem in the venue - just took ages to be able to park. We had a free child ticket so this kept the cost down. Kept our son (and us) engaged for a couple of hours. Not sure we would rush back but glad we have been.

The attraction was nicely laid out and presented but I didn't think it was worth the money especially when we found ourselves at the exit after only a hour and a quarter! We have been to other aquariums which were much better for the same price (The Deep in Hull is amazing, for example, same ticket price and we were... More

The range of different sea creatures kept the children entertained for about an hour and a half. The cost of £45 for a family ticket was expensive for what it was.

Nice surroundings and friendly staff Good selection of sea creatures especially ravioli the ray and the sea horses. It's not massive but we weren't expecting sea world or the Monterey aquarium. Small and family friendly and use the vouchers for a good entry price.

I went there for my daughter.I expect to see special thing like Miami or Chicago or Barcelona Aquarium .However, this place is small with few creatures.I think it would be cool if they add show.

Visited with my two children aged 5 and 2, my mum, my brother and wife and their 10 month old on a Sunday morning. It was lovely, tanks were big, plenty of fish, clean and well maintained. But...like many aquariums it was extremely expensive for the time it takes to go round it. You get all day access with your... More

We went to Bristol aquarium as a half term trip for my daughter after seeing an advert in a school magazine for "meeting a real mermaid" she was so excited and kept talking about the mermaids and how she couldn't wait to meet one. Now I wasn't expecting much but even so, I would have thought and hoped for a... More

Thank you for your recent review. We are sorry to hear the Aquarium's mermaid did not meet your expectation. Children are usually blown away by the mermaids so we are saddened to receive your feedback. Please know that following your feedback we have made efforts to ensure the mermaids look as mesmerising as they set out to all throughout the... More

Found all the exhibits so fascinating and huge variety of the types of species there. Fish had lots of space to swim around in and the tanks were so big! Such a fun day out will definitely be returning at some point
