Whether you view the bridge from below (around the Plimsoll Bridge area) on when on it, you can't help but be inspired by the graceful design and engineering. I like to walk over it at night as you get a great view of the lights...More

A marvel of engineering and a wonderful view even at low tide. Lovely park overlooking the bridge and gorge. With the nearby village go Clifton can easily spend the day there.

Scary but gorgeous old bridge built by Brunel. Epic views from the walkways. Costs £1 in a car or free on foot.

It has been a personal treat to visit this particular landmark. Do not forget that there is a £1.00 toll as you drive on the Bridge. Free to walk across. Nearby free street parking on Sunday (check before parking).

We had cold beers & took great photos from here. Super clean washrooms at the pub. We had a summer day that was a bonus.

Lovely view well done IKB. An example of fine Victorian engineering with an Egypt twist. You can visit Clifton nearby with nice shops, cafes and restaurants.

There are buses that run from college green in Bristol that drop you in Clifton village. It’s a 10-15 min walk relatively on the flat to the bridge. If you are concerned maybe s taxi is best! It’s great to visit so well... More
