Went there for the first time on a cold, rainy day of january. Did not find it quite impressive, probably because it was very dark inside. When I got back on march it was a sunny day and I really loved the place! The stained glass windows are so beautiful! This is probably one of my favorite churches ever.

We visited here during our visit to Bristol. We decided to pop in answer were walking past, so glad that we did, it was absolutely stunning to walk around inside. There seemed to be staff at the back of the church if you needed any further information. We wandered around for at least half an hour taking pictures and reading... More

I love old churches & cathedrals and Bristol Cathedral didn't disappoint. It dates back to the early 1200 and is truly awe inspiring to think of the effort that went into hauling and putting in place all the stone let alone the gorgeous craftsmanship of the carvings. I would definitely recommend a slow meander around this lovely space, whether you... More

Located on College Green in the centre of Bristol is the cathedral. It is free to go in but they do accept donation's. Not to many people visiting when we were there which gave it a nice atmosphere. Not stunning like nearby Wells Cathedral but well worth a visit.

We visited here for a weekend, with a visiting choir. The building is wonderful (even more wonderful for singing!) and the welcome from all staff and volunteers was outstanding. As a normal visitor, the Cathedral is a must see whilst visiting the City, well worth spending time here.

One cannot claim to have been to Bristol without seeing the Cathedral. The architecture is awesome inspiring and there is so much detail to stop and take in. Situated off College Green allows one to take in the whole building and really appreciate the scale and beauty of the building. There are plenty of treasures to find inside and the... More

Free to enter, this cathedral is worth visiting, to see it's amazing architecture and the history that it represents. There are plaques all around the building, dedicated to people who have passed away, spanning hundreds of years. The coffee shop was closed unfortunately - it isn't open as much as it should be.

Made a brief visit to Bristol Cathedral on a recent visit to the city. The Cathedral itself was stunning with great features throughout the building. Very friendly staff offering information leaflets. Well worth a visit.
