Christmas boat ride

My daughter had a fantastic time meeting santa on the boat. Sherry and mince pies was lovely for the adults too. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would do it again.

The boat I caught had a large figurehead of Gromit! The crew were very helpful - waiting for me as I ran/power walked towards the quay. I hadn't planned to use the ferry, but I rather carelessly accepted a suggested change to my route on Google maps. That left me the wrong side of the harbour, with not much time... More

We happened upon the ferry boats by accident, as one was pulling into the city centre stop as we got there. For a small amount of money we were able to travel around the many sites of the Bristol waterways, hopping on and off as we needed to. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and we were able... More

It is a really nice activity for first date. It was not that cold yet so it was really lovely to be outside just on the Ferry boats.

We have used these several times now. Our last trip was around the river with a group of children. The kids all loved it. The staff were very friendly.

Pleased ferry was still running on BH after Christmas (27th). Very good views from deck. Good speed so everything could be seen. Round trip to Hotwells took 45 mins and could be used to visit various pubs along the harbour. Well worth the £5.
