This is a super venue. We caught the final day of an exhibition called 'in relation' which was superb. The Epiphany Cafe is excellent. Well worth visiting.

The building is amazing and the content is great! However, it does not hold the comparison with the great London museums.

Have mixed feelings/memories of this building having sat exams in here four decades ago but was pleased to return and particularly impressed by the content and display of the free to view art. Well worth the walk up Park Street.

Stunning listed building. On the groundfloor there was a free exhibition of prints, lithographs and illustrations. Downstairs another free exhibition put on by Bristol University students. Upstairs exhibitions you have to pay for but well worth the money - full of interesting historical and contemporary...More

Always worth a visit. We spent a couple of hours looking at both old and new art here. Some of the free to see art is really good. Peter Blake- Sgt Pepper artist was on display.

Not much to see in the free exhibition here. A few Peter Blake's down stairs in what looked like a dilapidated school corridor, complete with stuff the caretaker has left behind. Would advise the wonderful Bristol museum as an alternative.

A basic title, but if you're into Art then it's a must visit. Certain times of the year you can submit your artwork too.

Went today with mixed expectations of reviews but wanted to see the fine art. It was disgustingly overpriced. £8 for 4 rooms. 2 of actual paintings and 2 of photographs. Took all of 20 mins. Popped down to the Bristol museum where they have proper...More

We visited when the annual open exhibition was on. At about £7 a head it's great value - brilliant works by all sorts of artists. Well displayed with great staff and an interesting shop. Also a café, toilets and all the usual things.
