I was in South Wales for a night out and really wanted to see the old suspension bridge up close. Parked up in Chepstow near the bridge and cycled across on the cycle path to the english side and back. Worked out at about 14kms...More

Whilst staying in Bath, we made the drive to go and see the bridge, and paid the £7 to travel across it - and then returned - which was free in that direction. Totally worth the drive, the cost and the time. Did not disappoint.

Loved the green area outside Bristol, all the trees, rock walls, the river and then the bridge over the Severn River.. After being there and seeing it with my own eyes I understood why Bristol was declared the greenest city in UK this year.

The bridges across the Severn are quite spectacular - and its interesting to see the old and new side by side. Its often nice to take the old bridge which on windy days you can actually feel moving underneath you, the views both up and...More

There are 2 suspension bridges over the Severn quite close to each other and vestiges of the earlier ferry terminal, what you do not see is the leaky railway tunnel underneath! The River has a Tidal Bore worth seeing. The big penalty is the toll...More

Travelled over the Bridge yesterday - they have changed the signs on the gantry above the toll booths. You now just need to go for the ones with the wheelchair logo in order to use your blue badge.
