This was a great place to get a flavour of the history of Bristol. Well laid out with lots to see. Certainly worth a visit. If you get the chance go up on the roof terrace for a great view over the harbourside.

Really interesting museum with lots of information and artefacts from the history of this city. Be sure to see the Banksy in the foyer between ground and first floor.

It is a very large place with nice architecture and design - more like a restaurant than a pub. I've been here several times both at lunch and dinner and never disappointed. Steak is excellent, try it out.

A diverse museum, based mostly on Bristol, its history and industry. Some area glossed over but worth a visit. For better value , wait for a special weekend!

Essentially this place tells you how Bristol grew from village to a prosperous trade hub and then continued to develop during the c19 and c20. Lots of exhibits including some multimedia offerings. Happily something here to enthuse two demanding 13 year olds. Good temp exhibition...More
