Relaxing visit

This is one of the best places in Bristol to walk around and just forget about being in a city. Very well kept, and full of wildlife. A very relaxing place.

If you rein central Bristol and want to orientate yourself this park on a hill is ideal. With pleasant landscaped, tree areas and a well presented playground for the kids you can spend a pleasant hour here and take in the 360 degree views of Bristol. Even more spectacular views can be had from Cabot Tower at the top of... More

The park is set on a steep hillside with winding paths, plenty of mature trees and landscaped garden and water feature area just below the Cabot Tower. There are 'wild' areas left to nature and plenty of seats to just relax and take in the views. A short walk from many of the attractions, SS Bt Britain, The waterfront and... More

I work just over the road from Barndon hill so walk through it quite often. It's a popular tourist spot and is always busy during summer for picnics and the like. would recommend as somewhere pretty slightly off the beaten track. Don't miss Cabot Tower, it stands out a tad :)

I wouldn' t call it beautiful, but Brandon Hill Park is a pleasant place to wander, even on a cold and wet day. And the panoramic views from the top (by the tower) are spectacular. Not sure why its called a Nature Park (yeah, there's trees and grass and a fair few birds, but nothing out of the ordinary). Still,... More

We enjoyed the views from the top of the tower. It is a steep climb, but it is worth it. The grounds are kept very nicely too.

Very nice walk out when the sun is out (or not!) Very windy though as the hill is exposed from its surroundings, make sure you make the climb up to Cabot Tower! it'll be worth it!

A lovely stroll - don't miss the tower! Great park to amble around, good views on the ground or from the tower (free entry, lots of winding steps).
