We love visiting the old vic and have seen a few shows over the past month. I don't consider any seat in the stalls or pit to be a bad seat. When we booked are first tickets we spent a long time reading reviews and to be honest it wasn't necessary, the theatre is old and some seats offer a... More

It was great to get back to see another fine show at BOV. Junkyard is funny, poignant and beautifully presented. This theatre is on a high at the moment-if you're in Bris go and see a show. It's a great night out.

We often come to Bristol just to go to the Old Vic. We have seen so many great plays and musicals here, the atmosphere is great but as it's hundreds of years old that's not surprising. This theatre shows classics and some great new stuff but whatever you go to see it is always value for money and great theatre... More

Great artefacts and gallery, the are exhibitions of interest now and then, however I feel as though they should do more frequent exhibitions and perhaps also encourage local art exhibitions and encourage greater interaction with the local community.

Having seen the theatre on tv we were determined to visit on our recent Bristol trip. Whilst undergoing major refurbishment this is still a must visit place. The staff were friendly and the auditorium is a delight. Would love to return when all the work is complete.

We particularly like the student productions which are always of a high standard and show new talent at its best.

Not been to the Bristol Old Vic for some years. Lovely back stage bar with great service. Had booked seats for a Miles Judd evening. Seats were in the circle and we had a great unrestricted view. Seats are not comfortable and incredibly narrow with hardly any leg room. This was the downside. Must come again soon.

Old theatre with brilliant character that we went to watch David O'Doherty in. Sat in the Royal Box which was splendid you are on the stage pretty much lucky he wasn't a comedian that picks on his audiences.
