The food here was second to none, particularly the Sunday roast. Massive portion with all the trimmings. Very cosy pub which accommodates for summer drinks or wintertime drinks. Feels very homely definitely a hidden gem!
Nice pub to head to for a quick lunch with work if you are based at/near the university, especially when the sun is shining. As a result we visit regularly, but as a vegetarian I seem to be stuck with variations on the veggie chilli...More

Another stop to drink beers during my stay in Bristol. This is typical student pub which was always full of students. Beers were perfect here - lots of dark, pale beers and ciders. Meals were good as well. But toilets were little dirty.
