I visited this wonderful concert hall to listen to Eric Lu - Winner of the Leeds International Piano Competition - and the experience was first class. The new extension gives such a dramatic addition to the experience. Well done to Suzanne Rolt and her team...More

Since the new St George’s opened up with the new extension in modern style architecture I’ve loved the program where which is so more inclusive now, it seems the building and musical programme are literally reaching out and asking Bristol and visitors to try something...More

I recently visited St George's for the first time, and had a lovely evening! The new bar is beautiful and provided a splendid place to grab a drink before the performance. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back!

We hadn’t been to St George’s for a while, but always liked it as a concert venue. However there is now an excellent modern extension that compliments the old building perfectly and houses a larger bar. Very well organised as usual and The Sons of...More

Last night we watched an incredible performance by Daniel Pioro at St Georges. The sound was fantastic and my partner said it made the hairs on the back of his neck quiver! Which I believe to be a brilliant compliment to the performers. The new...More

The new, colour" of the auditorium is so depressing, a complete mismatch with the seating and above stage art. New entrances let in cold as not double doors. Internal doors NOT soundproof. Macmillan concert spoilt by audible talking outside of the doors, presumably from bar...More

Something of an iconic, if perhaps lesser known, Bristol institution, I was looking forward to my visit here as part of the Bristol Open Doors programme. The last time I came here was around thirty years ago whilst working for a Bang & Olufsen dealer,...More

Visited for a wedding with my girlfriend. The venue made us feel very welcome and having drinks in the garden beforehand was really refreshing. The location was easy to get taxis to and from. Facilities were good and the bar was well stocked!

The acoustics in St Georges are excellent and the wide range of music make it a go to place. The bar is very good for pre concert drinks and in the interval. We have seen classical events popular artists such as Georgie Fame, Brian Ferry...More
