Love this place and its partnership with Pepe Nero - one of our “go to” venues when out in Bristol. I really value the vegan labelling on the beers, the atmosphere and friendly staff. (Just need to sort out the slightly whiffy loos and the...More

As it should be called, popped in here on the off chance and what a surprise. A converted vaulted basement, vast selection of beer and pizzas that’ll blow you away. They accommodated our group of 18 with ease, Air-con, cleverly lit and all round comfy.

The bar is very long with a row of many taps. It's situated in a large vaulted basement. I was really spoilt for choice. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. It's very popular and I can see why. Thoroughly recommended if you're into beer.

I tend to drink cider and was impressed with the small selection of ciders. Two of the three I hadn’t had before and at 6.9% should possibly have had less of! My buddy was drinking IPA and they have loads. Great place underground that’s got...More

The place is amazing on the inside. Don't let the closed upstairs fool you. Head on downstairs to enjoy one of the best nights of your life. Decor is amazing. Very chic on the inside. Looks like an old unused underground station. Think Waterloo underground...More

We had a team drink here in Jan and I was surprised at the layout downstairs in what resembled two caverns, quint interesting and different. The pub or emporium had a very different range or beers, ales and drinks on offer. The tables, benches, seats,...More

The Emporium is definitively huge but despite that , probably due to the rounded ceiling's shape it's also cosy. NIce for groups of people, not only for beers but also for eating. Beers choice is pretty nice. I would suggest this place all the Year...More

We enjoy drinking here as it's usually a bit quieter than the other ale houses on King Street. They do a nice range of beers, although the staff could be more knowledgeable.

Beer good.......food shocking.....waited an hour and a half for 6 pizzas and starters. Five were dry and cold. One ham and pineapple was sent by mistake. This was returned 3 times only to be returned with 3 different toppings on each occasion.

Good choice of beers, friendly well informed staff. Interesting vaulted ceilings which however reflects the sound, so was a little noisy for conversations.

No. Not at all. But I recommend to dress smart casual though. This is what every one else is wearing. Hope this helps. It's a good night in there.
