Looked for this place as it was recommended to have craft beer. There was only one craft beer tap but it was one I had not tried before and was pretty good.

Have reviewed this pub before,so much better now ! More atmosphere, pictures on wall ,toilets now spotless and beer excellent ! They always have a good session beer on and today it was really good !! Well done Paul & Trine!

Have to agree with everything the previous reviewer said,another maxim I use is 'you can judge a pub by its toilets ' I visited yesterday and the toilets absolutely reeked,overflowing tissue bin, obviously not been checked ,no attention to detail !

At first glance this is exactly perhaps what you were looking for, central location but slightly off the beaten tracks which means the massively drunk or annoying miss it out on their weekend trawl to oblivion... Some decent ales and a selection of some proper...More

Sadly lacking in atmosphere, lighting all wrong ,resembles a doctor's waiting room ! Explains why it is half empty most of the time !

Nestled away near the college you will find the Lime Kiln. Great beer and excellent location. Right bang in the city centre without all of the usual traffic problems.
