We found the Folk Museum very interesting as most of the items on display were things we had in our family home when we were children. There was a party of 9-10 year olds in when we visited and they were surprised to hear that...More

It was ok museum with some nice local history. I think it would be enjoyable for children as they had some interactive displays. The building itself was cool, but not as extensive as I would have liked.

The County Folk Museum is very well put together with rooms set out in various period furniture etc. Worth a visit. Parking is challenging.

We decided to bike into Cambridge and visit the folk museum, and I'm glad we did. It's full to the brim of local history, was very enjoyable, was then followed up by a cup of tea in their tea shop behind the museum.

The building itself dates from 1600 A.D. It used to be an inn before it became a museum in 1936. It has a "bar", a "snug", a kitchen, a guest room, a dining parlour, and interesting exhibits about the fens and childhood of previous generations....More

This museum has a small charge so it gets neglected. It is close to a stunning art space undergoing renovation as I write in 2016 but it is worth visiting if you are going to see Magdalene College or punting there. There are objects telling...More
