Located on St. Andrews Street is Christ's college where famously, Charles Darwin studied. Built in 1437 as God's house to teach grammar school masters, Christ's college came into being in 1505 and was founded by Lady Margaret.

Christ's college is beautiful. Made even sweeter by the fact entry is free. One of the places you feel you're standing among greatness as you reel off the many alumni.

The first of the colleges you come to if you walk into town from the Grafton Place car park, but well worth taking a look round. Better still, there's no admission charge, unlike the snootier more famous ones. Three lovely courtyards and some stunning buildings...More

A nice peaceful college just off the Main Street to relax and enjoy the garden and the quietness, sadly or lucky it does not get the attention like the main colleges but actually it deserves a visit

Nice spacious room and beautiful grounds. Excellent location. I'd stay here again and recommend as somewhere to stay or even just for a walkthrough.

A wonderful travel in history in an amazing college. Its surroundings are suitable for a tranquil stroll and the buildings inside are truly marvellous. It is in the city centre so it is very easy to visit. I would highly recommend it!
