What a beach! Visited here when on holiday. Parked on top car park (free) and used steps to access beach. The steps are very very steep (is a car park lower down as well) but this was worth it for the breath-taking views as you...More

Steep steps and limited parking but boy, is it worth it. The receding tide leaves huge rock pools big enough for little ones to swim in and caves for them to explore. A large expanse of sand to play rounders on makes this a "stay...More

I’m not a typical “beach person” as I don’t really like too much sun, but this is by far my most favourite beach I have ever visited. It is perfect for a day out with small children! Once the tide starts to go out, the...More

This beach is stunning and there is a lovely little cafe/restaurant mid way down. One word of warning there are very many steps down to the beach so going down may be fine but coming back up could be a problem. My husband continued to...More

Sit back, watch the tide go out and the beach come alive. The clearest water with a waterfall to discover. A tropical looking place

A gorgeous beach that’s well worth the trip from St. Helier. The bus from Liberation Station comes only once every two hours or so, so make sure to plan ahead and get there at low tide - the ride is about an hour long. The...More

We didn’t read all the reviews and had not checked the tides!! We arrived early and the sea was right up to the steps, no beach. So we sat at the lovely cafe and had a drink. Then sloped down to sit on the rocks...More

Discovered the answer to my own question last week. If it's helpful to anyone, the answer is about 3 1/2 hours after high tide.
