Me and my partner paid into Dewa expecting an interesting insight into Roman history. However the place was quiet with an unclean, somber atmosphere, there were parts of the museum that were left unfinished. When going around you are expected to read large boards of...More

You may see "Legionaires" marching around town with school children in costume, they are having a grand time. This museum is available after noon for the public. It is very comprehensive with displays that will please all ages.

Well laid out displays. You were able to take your time going around. Some hands on exhibits that would be good for young children.

We visited this experience Bank Holiday Monday and I'm shocked by the bad reviews. We didn't have any children with us but it was enjoyable and very interesting. The experience was interactive, insightful and realistic. Both of us enjoyed the 'play on the senses' and...More
