Cold but fun

Great day out. Think most of the animals were hiding due to the cold weather. Worth paying for tickets on line as cheaper than paying on the day

Me and my friends recently spent a day out at Chester zoo, it was one of our groups birthday, we are all in the 50's age group, with varying levels of mobility. Driving in to the carpark used to be a trudge, it was a plesant change, they have brilliant helpful stewards in the carpark, directing the traffic, showing you... More

A weekend stay in Chester saw us visiting the Zoo. We prebooked our tickets for easier access. We booked the monorail and was well worth the money. You had to get of at the next station, but could get on the next train. This cut out a lot of walking and with a 5year old, just turned 4 year old... More

Chester zoo is a fantastic place for all ages. They have a wide range of animals, and do lots of talks and information sessions about he animals. Easy accessable and wheelchair friendly. If going to go a few times a year I would buy a yearly pass as it works out far cheaper, and you could visit every week.

Young or old this is a fantastic day out. Get there early because you will need all day to take in the full zoo. Very good value for money. Will visit again soon
