Went on the bus tour this Saturday with some friends from down the South of England. Bit windy up top but the trip was great. The guide was a hoot from start to finish with loads of info. Al;ways think its worth this type of trip round the city. Having had a quick view of the various places its easier... More

A great way to pass half an hour on a 'vintage' bus. Amusing anecdotes & information from Barbara dressed in Georgian style. Good value for money

Heritage Bus Tour. Went on this bus as opposed to the hop on hop off. Took our seats on top. I think we must have covered every street in Chester on this tour. There was a live commentary, very informative with few corny jokes thrown in. A thoroughly enjoyable tour.

I'm an absolute sucker for unique methods of travelling round a new place so this grabbed me immediately. It cost £7 each for half an about and was worth every penny. You get to see parts of Chester you would not normally visit with the added benefit of some wonderful, knowledgeable and extremely funny commentary! Well worth it!

Had a very nice half hour as a passenger on this very old bus whilst it toured the city. Both the driver and our host Barbara were very pleasant and made the whole tour enjoyable. Lots of interesting information was passed on as we visited all the main sites of Chester. £7 was a little expensive but as we learnt... More

The bus trip lasts about 30 minutes and takes you around the city giving you the history of the various buildings and places, also stopping at a cemetery where the tour guide gives you some history of famous people that were buried there, then carries on the tour back to the town hall. A good trip if you want to see... More

We had a beautiful day in Chester; for late March the sun was shining and skies were blue! The heritage bus looked great sitting in the market square - so we decided to get on board. Am glad we did! The beautifully dressed guide took us on a very informative tour round and round Chester and filled us full of... More

If Chester is new to you, get on the 1910 antique double decker. If fine sit upstairs. If like me you can sit at the front next to the charming Edwardian costumed guide Barbara, you are in for a treat. Great way to see and learn about the ancient city before taking to the pavements and walk around properly.
