I attended a Thai cookery lesson at the Cookery School and I was expecting a quick fire here's what you need, here's what you do, go do it type session but that isn't what we had on the night! What a wonderful way to spend an evening ! The three hour Thai Cookery Course was fun and informative. We each cooked three dishes - all equally delicious- only two of mine made it home - the Pad Thai was scrumptious and not for sharing !. The Tom Yam and Pork and Prawn Sti Fry with vegetables were much appreciated... More

Yesterday my wife persuaded me to go on a Thai cookery course with her. I’m not the best cook in the world, so I was a little unsure if I would fit in. I’m pleased to say I found Harthill Cookery School so welcoming and friendly. Chef Chorchaba showed me how to make perfect Thai food with ease. A big... More

Wow, what an enjoyable cooking experience. I wanted to know how to cook Pad Thai from scratch as I discovered it during my holiday in Thailand. The Brian Mellor cooking school is excellent and fully kitted out with everything that you need – just bring yourself along. There were 8 of us together on the Thai evening course which was... More

Attended a Fish Cookery course at very short notice and I was made to feel etremely welcome right from the onset. Fantastic experience and learnt lots from the day. What a great team. Brian is patient and entertaining in the way he demonstrates everything before letting us loose to try for ourselves and Mary works hard in the background, making... More

Fantastic day today. Above and beyond what I expected. Made to feel very welcome from the 1st minute. I had never cooked with fish properly before but by the end of the day I had cooked all sorts and even filleted a fish!!! Who would have thought!!! Both Brian and Mary are excellent hosts. You couldn't ask for more. Brian... More

Excellent 1/2 day making different types of dough in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Brian and Mary made us all very welcome and made it seem easy! Lovely size group giving us all time for individual help every step of the way. Goody bags galore of the bread rolls, pizza, spare dough and flat bread dough to take away and... More

Booked a day for our company team as a reward for finishing 2015 in the top 10 of the Peugeot network. Brian and Mary were very accommodating, and offered a great day of cooking! All 22 of us were involved from the start making brioche, beer can chicken, salsa and more, all cooked outdoors in the wood fired oven and... More

I bought my wife a bread making course at Harthill and I'm glad I did , she had a wonderful time which won me plenty of brownie points ( pun intended ) the different breads she brought back that she had baked were amazing , now if only they did a cider making course .
