Small, but wonderful - loads to see inside and out - great mixture of architecture. Suggest that you choose a bright day to best show off the internal stonework and windows.

We visited St Johns after visiting the main Cathedral in the centre of Chester to look and contrast the two buildings we were glad the we did. A short vist of an hour should do it.

This lovely church was located very close to the Travelodge hotel where we were staying. Free entry and a lovely little diversion you can really feel the history of Chester in this interesting church and exploring the ruins is a must do. The St John...More
