Visit here to see the bikes of Chester from the sports bikes to the cruisers. Grab an ice cream and relax at the riverfront. Perfect for a summers day

After an interisting walk around the walls we decided on a boat trip along the river, couldn't have been nicer, just to chill admire the wildlife and scenery & enjoy the sunshine.

There are some great views. Cross the river on the mini susoension bridge [1935]. There are river boats / restaurants and small power boats for hire.

How do you rate a river? It's a lovely peaceful place down on the banks and the water flows along pleasantly..

We went on one of the boats and it was lovely to see those modern houses, we purchased a boat and bus ride which was a good offer. We have also been on a bike ride in more recent times. Obviously not for swimming in.

We found the river after walking the Castle Walls. We did an impromptu River Cruise up the River Deer from the Groves, the cruise lasts for 30 minutes and was really informative. The return journey gip average a lovely backdrop of the city.

I have recently walked into Chester via the canal and river and it is a lovely and relaxing way to enter the city. The footpaths are well maintained and the route itself is flat with many places to stop for for coffee or food.

The river creates a pretty background and looked great with the sun shining on it as I drank a nice beer on the riverside Boathouse pub. Great afternoon.
