I can't recommend this venue highly enough. Great location and setting, superb food, a great atmosphere and lovely staff - especially the Manager James who went out of his way to make our meeting run as smoothly as possible. We will definitely be back and...More

Came in with some friends on Saturday afternoon. The food was the best we've had in a very long time and we were very pleasantly surprised with how much the bill came to! Will definitely be back again!

We visited on Sunday and were booked in for 2 pm. Service was a little slow even though there were few people eating or drinking. Food was very good, would recommend chicken liver parfait, plenty of it and very tasty. Portion size very good in...More

Came across this place whilst walking along the canal in Chester and glad we did. It was a Friday night around 6pm and for some reason very quiet, which can be off putting when you've seen other busy places. We decided to give it a...More

The Lock Keepers is perched right on the waterside and could be an outstanding location, especially on a summers day. Feels a bit unloved however; is dark inside and outside areas full of smokers.

Great to find somewhere where you can eat outside to enjoy the evening sun. Pleasantly surprised by the food, not bad selection of drinks too. Friendly staff, nice decor and comfortable outside seating

Food was nice, service ok. All slightly under par. Would avoid in winter imagine would be better in summer. Had tap water as no mineral water, not mch ale choice and they pre salt your chips! Special was ok but not hot enough!

A group of 6 of each came here for some drinks (3 pints, 3 halves) and the round was £19. The place is large inside and clear. Friendly attentive staff. Sits right on the canal, seating outside so would be bette in the summer!!

I'm seem to remember there is a car park across the road. The pub sits next to the canal and alongside a road. There is a car park next to Iceland.
