Everyone loves a train ride and Lappa Valley Steam Railway offers three different railways experiences, with over three miles of track! Your journey begins with the mile-long trip, from Benny Halt Station, on a miniature steam locomotive taking you through the picturesque wooded valley to East Wheal Rose. Here you will find more railways, a fabulous wooded valley to explore with a boating lake, a path maze, crazy golf, play area, plus delicious food in the Whistle Stop Cafe and a gift shop packed with everything about trains and more. Steam train up to park was very good but the arrival at Platform 1 was a bit of a scramble as trying to get off as people trying to get on, could do with some organisation. Site seems to be a playpark. Plenty to do...More

Such a lovely place to visit with young children. A really charming family attraction with lots to do. The only thing is the weather needs to be good as all the activities are outside. Definitely recommend it.

Visited with our grand son who had a fantastic time on the train, canoe, crazy crazy golf, childrens fun area. A very enjoyable few hours, staff very friendly and helpful.

I think your daughter might get bored, there's not much to see for a girl that age, my 3 y old son is train mad, if he wasn't into trains we wouldn't even take him there.
