visited in half term when star gazing event was advertised. Lots of info on main hall table to browse in relaxed atmosphere and very informative guides. Good to see its simple approach, not over commercialized. Excellent cake in lovely barn tea room!

We visit Trerice regularly when in Cornwall and always want to return. The house has such charm and a real sense of history, so atmospheric. The staff and guides are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The tearoom is great with good quality food. An added...More

Last Saturday saw the Elizabethan manor House transformed into a spectacular 'sppoky' venue. Ghosts, ghouls and strange men in armour, surgeons, hangmen, the plague & bats etc. The whole atmosphere was fantastic as the old house and secluded location made it even more atmospheric. Thoroughly...More

This is a charming property to visit with attractive gardens and well informed guides in all rooms. The café/restaurant was nothing very special and would think you could find better places outside. Having said, that, would still visit again.

This is a beautiful house set in the middle of the countryside. Be careful if trying to find using the Sat Nav as you may end up on very narrow lanes and crossing a Ford. Once you have arrived it is the sort of house...More

Just visited this property last week and found it an enjoyable experience. I was very interested to hear about the history of the house and families who had lived there. The house is quite small and it does not take much time to go round...More

The National Trust's page for Trerice says: 'Due to the small nature of the garden at Trerice only assistance dogs are welcome in the house and garden. However there are local dog walks at Holywell and Crantock near Newquay.'
