A house with lots of history dating back to medieval times. Well set out with friendly, helpful staff. The gift shop caters for all price ranges. The cafe was warm and the food good on a cold day. Well worth a visit.

visited in half term when star gazing event was advertised. Lots of info on main hall table to browse in relaxed atmosphere and very informative guides. Good to see its simple approach, not over commercialized. Excellent cake in lovely barn tea room!

Last Saturday saw the Elizabethan manor House transformed into a spectacular 'sppoky' venue. Ghosts, ghouls and strange men in armour, surgeons, hangmen, the plague & bats etc. The whole atmosphere was fantastic as the old house and secluded location made it even more atmospheric. Thoroughly...More

This is a charming property to visit with attractive gardens and well informed guides in all rooms. The café/restaurant was nothing very special and would think you could find better places outside. Having said, that, would still visit again.

Not the biggest place but lots of things to look at. A higgledy piggledy sort of place with loads of little surprises tucked away in corners. Some of it looking a bit shabby but I think all the better for that. The usual Shop and...More

The National Trust's page for Trerice says: 'Due to the small nature of the garden at Trerice only assistance dogs are welcome in the house and garden. However there are local dog walks at Holywell and Crantock near Newquay.'
