Trerice isn't a huge property, but with a great hall, minstrel's gallery, a long gallery and some of the most elaborate Jacobean plaster ceilings it is a delight. It has a number of lawns and garden areas around it, a decent cafe/restaurant it the ban and activities for children.

Despite it being off season, there was plenty to see both inside and outside of the house. Staff were very helpful and gave interesting insight into the property's history.

This is a smaller National Trust property but very interesting. It is hidden down country lanes. There is a lovely knot garden and orchard. Once again friendly and knowledgeable staff.

An absolute little gem of a place hidden away down tiny country lanes. What can I say? The children loved it, I loved it even my husband loved it! We were lucky enough to visit this week over half term so the children were able to join in with art and craft activities. They also got to try on armour... More

Haven't visited for a couple of years. They have made the knot garden which wasn't there before. The house is small and not a lot there. There are a few activities for children outside and plenty of space to run and as usual there were little animals to find in the house. I agree with previous reviewers, I found the... More

Lovely house with some beautiful features. Great activities involving children. Placed in beautiful grounds. Highly recommend. Would avoid the cafe after 16:00, they are open until 17:00 but very the 3 staff were reluctant to make a sandwich just the cakes already on display. Bit of disappointment really. If the National trust maximised its retail outlets then the members would... More
