This Cornish cove is a great place for families and those holidaymakers wanting to get away from the maddening crowds. For children the waters are shallow and safe (but beware fast in-coming tides) and families benefit from the nearby amenities of Porth and the cafes...More

Another big, beautiful beach in Newquay. Small headland each side for walks and protection from wind. Fresh water river running through it.

We really loved this beach. It felt very safe and wasn't too crowded. Perfect for families with young children.

We visited this beach and it was lovely and clean. Dogs are not allowed in the beach. It is manned with lifeguards so safe for surfing and body boarding.

Great safe beach with lifeguards watching and warning of only swimming between the flags. Kids enjoyed body boarding although quite calm waters therefore not as much fun!
