Lane Theatre is owned and managed by Newquay Dramatic Society, a registered charity. Newquay Amateur Dramatic Society was founded in May 1931 and we have been presenting plays continually since that date. Facilities include a 138 seat auditorium, free parking and disabled access. In 1980 the Society acquired the Lane Village Hall and then began the process of transforming an almost derelict building into the excellent 138 seat facility we enjoy today.

We have seen two plays here this year and the acting is superb and very very professional. We go every year when we are on holiday and enjoy every production that is produced here. Well worth an evening out

The Newquay Dramatic Society produce and perform really good polished plays. Secondary Cause of Death is one of them. Very enjoyable, wonderful set, lovely theatre, with excellent front of house staff.

The wife and I turned up here for our first visit, and watched a jolly jape called 'Secondary Cause Of Death' an am-dram whimsy based on Agatha Christie and involving rather a lot of ad-libbing due to lines of script going AWOL in mid-delivery! In...More
