A lovely beach, admittedly down some pretty steep steps, on the inside of a cliff. It's quiet, sunny, the water is cool and the rocks make for great climbing. Why go anywhere else?

This beach is accessible only by a very steep staircase of well over 100 steps soils not family friendly. But it is absolutely beautiful once you get down.

I last visited Whipsiderry Beach in 1962 on a family holiday. Returning to Cornwall with my wife, I just had to make a nostalgic return to the beach where I had spent an idyllic week as a pre-teen. The rocks are a little weather-worn (but...More

There is a hand rail to hold on to but once you have got down the 132 steps the beach is quite great rock pools miles of sand and very quiet. Well worth the steps for the peace and quiet and great surfing!

This beach is a real hidden gem. It's not signposted from the road and there is no car park and no facilities or life guard. For these reasons it is not as crowded as other beaches which makes it such a pleasure to be on.

This is a great beach - it's a very little known spot, as it cannot be seen from the road or the nearby coastal path. You can only see it from the very edge of the cliff. This beach is not suitable for the elderly...More

Things you need to know about this beach. 1.The steps to the beach are VERY steep, you have to be reasonably physically fit to go down/up them. 2. There are no toilets/shops/stalls on this beach. You need to buy all supplies beforehand. 3. There is...More

Visit it when the tide is low: very steep steps, not easy to reach but you'll have the chance to visit the galleries and see the cliffs from below. Most of the time you'll see very few people around and that's making the place even...More

I booked here based on reading others reviews , this is a good base for staying and travelling especially if you want to avoid the busy tourist bustle of Newquay. The rooms are comfortable (although I found our mattress a tad uncomfortable), the bathrooms look...More
