I've got an interest in aircraft so I love all this stuff anyway but my wife and kids and our friends family all had a great visit despite the mizzle. The damp weather didn't spoil things - there is much to see and do in...More

We decided to visit on a 'grey' day and it was worth the visit. Real chance to sit in some old planes and my son loved the simulation experience. Really informative and really helpful staff. Dog friendly too

Visited as a family. Children enjoyed climbing in and out of various cockpits. Volunteers friendly and knowledgeable.

My 18 year old son had spotted this on the internet and asked to visit. It took some time to find the entrance once we got to the airfield and it's a relatively small collection of planes in different states of repair. Staffed by volunteers,...More

Back again for another visit - now they've added a beautiful Lightning and not one, but 2 Tornados! Awesome! I saw another review that wasn't enthusiastic - I'v just been around and counted 14 complete, pristine aircraft - so there! And the open hangar is...More

This is more an assemblage of spare parts and aircraft carcasses. There are 6-7 fuselages that have had engines removed. High spots were kids sitting in the very cramped cockpit of a Harrier, and using the simulator to fly around the coast of Cornwall in...More

Had a little trouble finding this museum but apart from that the day was flawless. Entrance fee accounted for students concessions which I have never come across and then a brief health and safety talk. Able to get into the cockpit of lots of planes...More

Defo a hidden gem for the Aviation buffs. Sit in small planes, large planes and huge planes. The knowledge of the volunteers is awesome. We hung out in the hanger for hours and spent a good 3 hours there and I could do it again....More

By far the best air museum in Cornwall. Great knowledge and the fact you can sit in most aircraft is absolutely fantastic. No where have I ever been that they let you do this. Well worth a visit.

Hi - mostly outside. It is still a viable visit but with so much outside is worth waiting for a dry day if possible.
