This is a wonderful 18th century house in a wonderful place. The owners are kind and friendly, they really try to make you feel at home. The house is really incredible, at every room you feel like a 18 th century ancestor could get out of the corner. Everything is settle like it was in the past two centuries. By... More

A pre-booked ‘Tour and Tea’ combination recently provided a dozen or so members of the Rotary Club of Penzance with a fascinating insight into the history of Trereife House and the family that built and continue to live in it. The origins and evolution of this predominantly eighteenth century country house coupled with fascinating details of the Le Grice ancestors... More

The house is impressive as you approach - but the grounds and garden are disappointing compared to the many wonderful gardens that you can visit nearby and in the far south west of Cornwall.

A fine Elizabethian house with an interesting history and (at the time of visiting) lots of dressing up opportunities for families. Trying on armour was fun! Please note that dogs cannot enter the grounds at all, nor are there any parkland walks so I'd advise making other arrangements for furry friends.

My favourite Manor House in a beautiful setting and great gardens. I attended the Cornwall Design Fair which was taking place the weekend I stayed. This Fair takes place annually in August and is a must see for those visiting in that period

My partner and I stayed here for one evening and we were in one of the main rooms with a separate bathroom (I forget the room name, sorry!). The owner took the time to show us to our room and told us some of the history surrounding the house and the family history, we could have easily talked to the... More

Very high entry price for 2 small marquees of stalls. Paying extra for the house tour was simply a step too far so unfortunately we didn't see. In addition charging for the kids bouncy castles was not on. Lovely gardens and some local producers meant a nice 2 hous spent.
