Tips: - About 2.5 miles from Marazion to Penzance. - Parking is quite pricey at either Marazion or Penzance, so park in the middle - it's only £1 for the whole day (correct as of June 2015)! The car park is called long rock, council...More

Starting from the back of the bus station in a most uninviting spot this walk, part of the 630-mile South West Coast Path, soon leads you out of town between the sea of Mounts Bay and the railway and road routes out of Penzance. The...More

Lovely flat walk with amazing views. Several places en route to stop for a cuppa if you wish. You need to be aware that cyclists use this route as well.

Did this walk today with my family. Got the bus out to Penzance and then walked back into Marazion. Partially along the beach and some of it on footpaths. Not very strenuous and some stunning views over the bay. Will do again for sure.

Fortunately it was low tide so we walked the beach. It was a lovely day and compared to other parts of the coastal path an easy stretch to tick off. Penzance itself it not too picturesque and the actual path has the obvious signs of...More

Parts of the walk are well-marked, some parts have confusing path options, and can get you stranded on the beaches.

Because of the high tide we had to take a boat to St Michael’s Mont. The water was choppy, but the ride was short. The fact that a family lived in the castle and there were pictures and stories about the children that lived there...More

Brilliant weather and nice easy path from Penzance railway station to Marazion and our final destination of St. Michaels Mount. Path is well used but fairly wide for the most part. Fabulous views the whole way there and back. Recommend.

An enjoyable walk from Marazion to St Michaels Mount. Make sure you get the timings right on the tides. St Michaels Mount beautiful in its own right. Pathway is cobbled, so not really suitable for the elderly, although I must say it did'nt stop many.

Yes if the tide is out you can walk but if not there are lots of little boats to take you over. It’s fabulous! Enjoy!
