Weekend away

The model village has come upon hard times. Floods have damaged the models and the reconstruction is not great.

I liked this place. It's only small but really well thought out. It's a model village of polperro. The attention to detail is incredible and there is a house with shells all over it on the walk from killigarth and this little place has a replica of it. Excellent. It's nice that someone has invested their time in something like... More

Polperro is beautiful, captivating and tiny. The model village is an even smaller version of its self. Do visit Polperro before the model village to appreciate it but do make time for the model village because it costs very few pounds to get in and it is a great model. There is also a video to watch about the flood... More

Brilliant little attraction. Would highly recommend a visit here. The model village is fantastic and nice to see some of the history and watch the kids learning.

I have reviewed this before but felt the need to review again - my 3.5 year old visited this when she was smaller and she is now more aware of the story at the end - it had her mesmerised! It is a small attraction, not taking more than 20-30mins unless you stop off for a bit on the bench... More

It is a smashing place to visit as some where different to go.Though you most definitely need a car to get there. In all honesty, it is more of a sunny day place to is it rather than a really lousy day weather wise. The attached photographs give an insight to what you can expect. As it is a working... More

So good, cliche but I feel like a giant amongst the beautifully kept village. Always a warm and friendly welcome received too.

We loved Polperro and our 8 year old was really excited about the model village so decided to end a lovely day with a visit. We didn't think it was that cheap to visit as other reviewers had said, as it really is a 15 min visit at max! Quite sweet as a small replica of Polperro but very old... More

Thought the price was a bit expensive for what we saw. Rather a small layout compared to others I have seen. As a model enthusiast myself I did enjoy looking at all the buildings, and a model of the model was a clever idea. Polperro itslf is a lovely village. You have to use the car park and either walk...
