A favorite place for a family outing, this lovely stretch of beach overlooks Godrevy Lighthouse in the distance.

This beach is wonderful and right in town. Enjoy a walk on the golden sand with a view across to the lighthouse and town.

Not a big stretch of beach but beautiful. Close to the train station, a stroll to the shops, cafes. Everything really close by.

St Ives beaches are all lovely and you see many surfers. The waters always look crystal clear and clean and you gave such glorious views just a good day out.

The best beach in England! So clean, wonderful views, nice cafes around the the area, handy toilets close by but watch out for those devilish seagulls around!!

Golden sands, beautiful views, the calming sound of the waves breaking on the shore... I could have spent the entire week here.

Fantastic spot for an autumn seaside walk and see and experience a beautiful cornish beach first hand.

Wow. What a truly beautiful beach. Small in size, but immensely well maintained with gorgeous white sand and just enough in the way of facilities to not be over commercialised. Pretty empty on a November afternoon, but a truly lovely place to be nevertheless.

This beach was within view from our hotel and was absolutely beautiful and just a few minutes' walk from the hotel via a pathway.

OK Porthmeor is popular but this has everything, glorious sands, it is sheltered and there are sufficient amenities without there being too many and spoiling it. The beach is immaculate and well cared for and lovely views over to Godrevy Point.

Wonderful sandy beach - the sea doesn't disappear at low tide either. Lots of amenities and activities for children too

It's flat so great for paddle boarding. They do hire surf boards but you do surfing on the beach on the other side of St. Ives.
