In my opinion the best beach. Good facilities. Things to do. Food and drink. Toilets. Spacious. Near train station. Nice grassy areas. Plenty of birdsong. No through traffic.

The beach was superb. Real golden sands. Very very clean. Just enough amenities. Great ice cream shop, cafe, shop etc.

This has to be one of the best beaches in Cornwall, if not the UK. It is lovely and wide, sheltered and more importantly has a plethora of lifeguards. It has some pretty cool eateries which are very stylish and pleasant to have a drink...More

all the beaches round st ives are great. one fishing village has 4 beaches. all Sandy. some for surfing. clean with appropriate amounts of cafes and amenities. they aren't the vast sandy vistas on other parts of Cornwall. but they are cute.

These beaches in Cornwall are stunning! Most are dog friendly too, we don't have a dog but it was lovely to see so many play in the sea

Great place, beach cafe with shop, terrace for a drink etc, putting green, toilets, tennis, and a restaurant which is quite expensive. Beautiful beach, scenery and fabulous views over to st Ives.

It's flat so great for paddle boarding. They do hire surf boards but you do surfing on the beach on the other side of St. Ives.

There in April and you couldn't take your dog on the beach then. However Porthgwidden beach nearby allows dogs.
