Escape from the madding crowd by walking onto the island. Watch a kestrel hunting, goldfinches, starlings, sparrows and rabbits - a nice change from gulls! The only noise if the sound of the waves breaking on the rocks - it has to be done

If you want a place with so many differences in one space then this is the perfect spot. The views are magnificent and you can see so many sides or Cornwall. You have your calm waters on one side and the windy rougher water on...More

As one of the stand out points in St Ives, this is a must visit. The views across St Ives and especially Porthmeor Beach are wonderful and you could easily pass away a hige amount of time wandering around the island or sitting by the...More

This hill on a promontory overlooks the sea and St Ives providing fabulous views. It is also a good spot to let your dog stretch its legs.

But worth the effort. The path around the island gave a fabulous selection of views. Rocky out crops next to beautiful beaches the view was stunning and varied all within a short walk (or roll).

We walked up to the little chapel, but it was unfortunately shut, regardless it was a beautiful walk and very scenic views of one of the most beautiful places I know. It's a trudge but worth it.

I was intrigued by the little chapel on the hill so had a walk up to have a look. It's so small and was very interesting to read the history behind it. If you're in the area have a walk up, the views from the...More

There is a wide tarmac path with regular benches leading up from the car park, it's not too steep that side either so it should be okay for trundler or wheelchair access.
