Hidden away at the back of the town is this lovely beach with traditional brightly painted huts. The waves are far more gentle in this protected area so ideal for smaller children. Lovely spot.

Probably the quietest, nicest beach in St Ives, but very family orientated with beach huts and a cafe. The sand is very smooth and clean. The beach area and Island is the best place to regularly see dolphins and seals without having to pay for...More

This beach is beautiful, small but clean and well sheltered if the wind is blowing in from behind. Great views on a clear day.

A small and sheltered beach popular with families. The fine sand slopes quickly towards the sea in this narrow bay. We had a quick dip at high tide and discovered how soon one can get out of ones depth. Very pleasant for a short swim...More

Fantastic little beach just right for the grandchildren, nice sandy beach for them to play on. Safe bathing area for swimming in or playing in. Because this is a small beach, it can seem to get crowded but we were not bothered by this.

On our visit there was a "no dogs allowed" sign at the entrance to the beach.there is however a dog friendly beach a five minute walk away.
