Worth the drive to this part of the world. Busy, winding roads lead to the initial gob smacking view of the bay. Can be difficult finding a parking spot in busy times, but make the effort and walk the narrow streets down to the harbour....More

A lovely, pretty town with lots of interest. The beach is easy to get to andhas soft sand; and is free of litter. No dogs allowed.

Harbour Beach is pretty and famous from numerous paintings, but not dog friendly. Only one beach in St Ives is, and it is treacherous and rocky to get down to it. Definitely recommend getting the train in rather than trying to park in St Ives

Spotting a seal in crystal clear waters of St Ives harbour was just onw of the highlight of my summer holidays this year. Golden sands and friendly locals made this years holiday truly wonderful.

Great place to spend a few hours wandering around this pretty harbour town with good selection of individual shops, art shops and places to eat. Very steep walk back to the car park, bus ride back to car park recommended.

Take a walk between the Tate StIves along the headland to the main harbour (or the other way round), the views are great both inlands and to the sea
