Went here as we have English Heritage pass and spent a couple of hours on a rainy day here. Audio tape was really helpful to carry around and my two teenagers enjoyed listening to the history of the castle while walking around. Plenty to see...More

This castle has amazing views of the Carrick Roads, Falmouth Bay. Great for history buffs and lot's to occupy the kids too

We visited St Mawes Castle on a rainy day. It is excellent value for money and so interesting. The kids 6 and 4 loved it too We will be back

Just a couple of hours at the castle but if it is a nice day you may want to enjoy the view over to the Falmouth area for a bit longer. St Mawes village is idyllic!

We don't have a dog, but we saw lots of people in the village with their dogs on a lead.
