For a truly out of this world experience, don't miss out on the fun at the Milky Way Adventure Park - North Devon's multi award family winning day out. Just 10 minutes outside of Bideford awaits a full day of adventure for the whole family come rain or shine. Take a ride on the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster - enjoy the panoramic views from the top, but prepare to scream as you face the hair-raising drop! Have a close encounter with aliens in the Clone Zone dark ride and take on the huge death slide in the Time Warp - if you dare. Opening in 2016 is an amazing display of Sci-Fi memorabilia - one man's vast private collection of characters, collectables and fan art from film and TV...from Daleks to Darth Vader! There's plenty for smaller adventurers too including the innovative Little Stars play centre designed for babies to pre-schoolers. It has a multi-level soft play area, sensory room for babies, a dressing up area, roll play pizzeria complete with kitchen, tables and food to stimulate imaginative play - and even a pretend car wash with ride-on cars. The park also boasts the UK's largest bouncing pillow, as well as a smaller pillow just for children under five and accompanying adults. One of the parks most popular attractions are the droid destroyer dodgems which guarantee a bumping good time for everyone, including little ones with special gentle rides for smaller visitors. Another favourite is the Time Warp - North Devon's biggest indoor play area, with assault courses and slides built for adults as well as children. To wind down, visitors can take a leisurely trip on the Milky Way railway, and then sit back and enjoy the shows which include Merlin from Britain's Got Talent with his fun packed skills and thrills show and breath-taking displays from the North Devon Birds of Prey Centre. The park also has a 1,000 seat indoor arena, so you can be sure that the show goes on whatever the weather! Alongside this, there's plenty to try your hand at including archery, golf and laser shooting for all the family. With over 110,000 sq feet of indoor fun & acres of outdoor activities, The Milky Way is the biggest all weather, family day out in North Devon. It's designed to be fun for parents as well as kids and there are no hidden extras as all of the rides, shows and play areas are included in the entrance fee. Your adventure awaits you - are you ready?

8 adults, 9 year old, 3 year old & 1 year old..lovely, memorable day out with the whole family. Something to entertain everyone and great opportunity for adults to forget about the seriousness of being a 'grown-up' and bounce like school kids in the outdoor giant pillows! 9 and 3 year olds loved the roller coasters and dodgems, 1 year... This was mine and my 5 year old daughters first visit to the milky way and what a fantastic day we have had. Being the last day of holidays before we head back to Scotland we decided to come here. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, there was loads to do both indoor and outdoors and ended up spending... More

We went here on the only rainy day of our holiday. On the whole it was a decent day, a couple of attractions we out of bounds due to the weather, but there's plenty to do indoors. The strangest part of the day was the kids 'magic' show. Performed by one very strange guy who shouts down his microphone so... More

Many thanks for your review. I'm very pleased you enjoyed a decent day out with us and were impressed with the amount to do even on a rainy day! The popular under 5's magic is a bit crazy and chaotic in places and potentially 'strange' to us adults but it never fails to entertain and amuse the younger children which... More

What a great place for a party! So much for the children to do, guaranteed to tire the most energetic child out. Fantastic food and drinks and loads of space to have endless fun

Hi Sue - it's great to see that you've enjoyed another of your visits to us! We hope the sun shone for you, but if not as you know we've more to do indoors than anywhere else in North Devon. Did you see that we've won the Traveller's Choice award again, and been named the 7th best amusement park in... More

Staying in Woolacombe we decided to take the kids here for the day on a Saturday, was surprisingly quiet and managed to get all activities in. Staff at reception very warm and welcoming which started the day off right. Season pass also decent price if you're visiting again. I totally recommend.

Hello James, We're so glad you decided to visit too! We often meet people who've travelled quite a way to get to us, and are happy they did. We put a lot of thought and planning into making sure that we have short waiting time for our attractions. And we do believe that when it comes to staff our guys... More

Visited with my wife and 2yr old daughter, very quiet out of term time. Attractions a bit third rate and shabby but made up by the very friendly staff. Bird of prey show was however very good. Not really worth the entry fee but my 2yr old seemed to enjoy herself which is the main thing.

We went here for our daughters 2nd birthday as we had found it on the Internet, having done some research we thought it would be right up our little girls street as she absolutely loves soft play and they do have a fantastic soft play area called little stars.
