During our day in Dartmouth we decided to visit this town museum. We were warmly greeted which was a nice start and the admission charge was most reasonable. The exhibits were arranged in a number of rooms, each with its own theme. The whole museum...More

This is a tiny museum up a crooked stair, but it is outstanding. Local history, including some excellent ship models, all well presented and with some interesting twists. The building itself is worth the modest entry fee, and the staff are very knowledgeable. Recommended for...More

This is a small museum but very interesting and the cost is £2 for adults £1.50 for concession and £1.50 for children and I think children under 12 are free, the staff are very knowledgable and friendly.

A small price to pay for lots of History, very helpful staff to give you the full fact should you need more than what is available, this is upstairs and is in an 1840 building
