Very stimulating visit. Most helpful staff. Excellently curated. Ask to see the Jesse room which is unique (two doors down, kept locked). Worth the small entrance charge so necessary to maintain a lille gem like this.

£2 entry. Small but nicely presented museum. Staff were helpful and able to give good information. Worth dropping in and finding out about Dartmouth's history. Nice display of Dartmouth pottery.

Situated above shops this museum tells the fascinating history of the building and of Dartmouth. A 17 century merchants house where King Charles the second held court in 1671.

Visited for about two hours. I especially liked the WW2 exhibits but there was plenty about the development of Dartmouth over the years. £2 entry, free to children <12 years.

Three rooms full of Dartmouth history at a nominal price. Interesting displays and exhibits, including a powerful section on Dartmouth's slave trade connection. Wonderful volunteers who were happy to help.

This is a treasure trove of local history spread over 4 rooms. There is lots of information around the exhibits and the volunteers are very helpful. There is a small shop too. The entry fee is very low.
