The garden area isn't too big and has smooth pathways through the different areas, with plenty of seating dotted about. It is also located very close to the public toilets (20p entry).

We sat in these gardens after a long walk along the coastal path. A very talented singer entertained us with his guitar; it wasn’t intrusive, just lovely playing & singing. There’s a bandstand & flowers, right near the shops.

The gardens include different areas, with the area around the fountains and bandstand being the most popular and interesting. There’s often a busker to enjoy, quite a few benches to sit on and whole world to watch going by. Given reasonable weather, this place is...More

The gardens are great to walk through, not only are they really clean and tidy, but there are stalls or some form of entertainment going on throughout the day. Its also close to many shops, bars, restaurants which is very convenient.

Lovely relaxing area of Dartmouth. We walked through when a table top sale was taking place and it had a real community spirit about the area. There are also some toilets here too - although they had a box outside requesting 20p people were able...More
