Decided to take a basic course in belay. The instructor was very good, friendly, informative, clear instructions and thankfully patient.

Visited on Saturday with my adult children and had a fabulous time. It was my first time climbing and I found it a little daunting trusting the winch to get me down but I soon got the courage to climb to the top of several...More

With young children & personally did expect a little more supervision, briefing & checking of harnesses etc. But all went very well any how. As a ‘clipper’ was able to be on hand all the time. So good interaction with your children during their down...More

Good routes and nice cafe, easy and cheap parking nearby. Clip and climb for children and good space for parties. For the more serious climber, lots of lead routes of all grades and a bottom belay section with easier routes

Took the kids for a taster session! Was brilliant, not too expensive and a really great team on board. Definitely recommend if you're staying in the area. We didn't get time on our holiday this year but will definitely be back next year!

My fiancé and I recently completed the Quay Climbing Centre's 4 week induction course, and it was great. We'd been climbing informally in Canada for a while before coming back to the UK, and decided to get a better idea of safety and technique. Elliott...More

The Quay has a great variety of climbing walls, as well as two bouldering rooms. The service isn't always great so it may take a while for them to get you set up, but once you're equipped and climbing none of it really matters anymore....More
